First let's transliterate it and get the romaji. There are plenty of japanese, english and german words XD
Ai-same-CRIER aibu-save-LIAR
Eid-sei-Rising HELL
Aishiteru Game sekai no Day
Don't-sei-War Lie-heishi-War-World
Eyes-Hate-War
A-Z Looser-Krankheit-Was IS das?
Ai-same-CRIER aibu-save-LIAR

I'll-ness Reset-End ja nai Burst

A-Z Souzou High-de-Siehst YOU das?
Yeah so I actually think the kanji is just a play with words and what should be translated is what is she singing. The first character 愛, meaning LOVE, can be read as AI. Also english "I" can be romanized as AI so I think the first line shouldn't be "Love same crier" but "I same crier" (starting to make a sense a little).
生 means LIFE and it's pronounced as SEI. Japanese write english "say" as SEI so I translated it like that: "Don't say war" instead of "Don't life war" ^_^ then Aibu becomes I've, Eid -> I'd, I'll-ness -> Illness, at least I think so. Same goes to the title, shouldn't it be Allies? There's a LIE in the word so it shows that allies can lie to you. Isn't it?
english
I'm the same CRIER, I've saved a LIAR
I'd say RISING HELL
I love you, one day in the game world
Don't say WAR, lie, soldier, war, world
Eyes hate war
A-Z looser and illness, what does it mean?
I'm the same CRIER, I've saved a LIAR
I'd say RISING HELL
Illness resets it but it's not the END, burst!
Don't say WAR, lie, soldier, war, world
Eyes hate war
A-Z imagination is high, can you see it?
So it'd be better like this! I think so. (I haven't seen the anime tho). The rest is my imagination
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I couldn't figure out how to translate this! I heard it was a giant play on words but couldn't figure out how it was play on words! Thanks for the help!
ReplyDeleteThis is interesting, I like how you've translated the chorus. Your theory on the title is one I hadn't thought of.
ReplyDeleteI think it's called aLIEz because 'Lie' is between 'a' and 'z' (the beginning and end of the alphabet), meaning "a lie from the beginning to the end", which effectively captures the spirit of the song.
Ohh, that's amazing! I haven't thought about the title :D It seems right :3!
Deleteit's that, but also it's the word "allies", emphasis on the LIE. In other words, a friend who lies to you, as suggested by the first line, "I've saved a liar". that is the play on words, and part of why much of this song is hard to translate. a lot of it has to do with homophones
